It's here!!! Personally, I couldn't wait to see it. There is a lot going in this diorama, there are stories everywhere.
I would like to see more of the Wirble, guess I'll wait for round 2.

Thanks for posting the pictures.

Big!! Looks like about 4 or maybe 5 scenes going on. I like alot of the little details thruout. The command post, with the guy reading a newspaper is great.
When you shoot more pics id like to see a ground level shot looking down the road that includes the troops, barricade and WW in the background. In regards to the story.. was the barricade set up to block until the WW showed up or is it a checkpoint? What does the signage say?
Great job and hope to see the article soon.

thnx for replys, i dont want to reveal to much about the terrific stroy behind this normandy diorama. the barricade is set up as a precautionary checkpoint as it being d day and all. i wanted to point out that on the wirblwind pic you will see that i havnt YET completely weathered the area of camoflage around the tracks wheels as you can see and will do that later. the brown netting you see on the wirblewind and all over the ruined house is german camoflage nets.

again please bear in mind that this dio is not 100 % complete

Ahhh!!! a "big" dio. I love big dio's and this one is turning out very nicely. I to want to know the story line behind it. I know you dont want to give it all away so I can wait It does have a lot going on in it. Like the others have said lots of little stories. Excellent work, I can't wait to see it finished and hear the sotry behind the scene. Cheers Kevin

I would like to see more of the Whirbelwind. It looks like it is heavily camouflaged so it is not too clear (a good thing I guess) in the pics.

i dont want to reveal to much about the terrific story behind this normandy diorama.

Be careful here...a good diorama should tell its story without explanation and any sub-scenes should be consistent with the overall story.
