Hi
Since I don't like modern multi-color schemes...can I paint it one color, like desert yellow (for desert operations) or OD?
Thanks for you answers

Yes, either a dark green for Vietnam era or sand for Operation Desert Storm or OIF.

I may be mistaken, but I don't think the M113A2 was used in Vietnam. So the all green would not be appropriate, but the Desert yellow would be OK.

You are correct, but, M113A2 was developed in early to mid-1970s and were around in the transition period from all green to MERDC camo scheme. There were still plenty around in allover green at the time following the Vietnam war, hence the Vietnam era.

When I was in the Vermont National Guard from 1983-1986 we had one M113A2 that was still a shiney shade of OD green with white stars. It did not go to the field and we used it for static displays, but it was in the original markings.
