Yep - I got mine from VLS Corp and another from Hobby Link Japan. I like 'em alot. I only found one thing that made me go Hmmmmmm...
I wondered why they chose to mold in the Sponson Box handles instead of offering them as separate pieces. That's one thing AFV Club did with their new M41A3 Walker BullDog that helps set it off. Oh well, I guess it's the Big T and they figure we'll buy the kit anyway...

You know that Eduard or Aber is right around the corner with a photo etch set to correct the FEW downfalls of the kit. Its kits like this one that sways me away from modeling modern armor. #:-)

Yeah - I used to be a strictly modern armor modeler too. The Pershing is something I've always wanted to do!

What scale is it?
After getting Tamiya's 1/48th F4U corsair, and Italeri's F-3 Tornado, and an Italeri Hummer, and an F2H-2 Banshee, and those other six...... Point is, I don't need another model right now. Needs always come before wants, and I want to finish a few models, but I need to build up a model stockpile before I go broke in college..... #:-)

The Tamiya Pershing is in 1:35th scale - like Lays Potato Chips - you know you just can't have one...

It's 1/35th. Stockpiling kits is like coming into the Dark Side.

I saw it last month at my IPMS meeting. It was sweet and relatively cheap since he ordered it from HLJ. $25 IIRC. It will be big bucks here, $40+ range. I may get one some day, but I have both the DML M-46 Patton and M26A-1 Pershing. I don't *need* to have it right now.
