Hello I have started a new diorama. The figures are Survivors Panzer Crew and two figures from Fallen comrade, it would look like this:

I have painted the Panther turret. On the first picture you will see a shell hole, and I don’t know if it right size. I want it to look like a Russian anti tank gun 76mm has hit it from maybe 400-500meters.
And the shell hasn’t penetrate the armour just damage it so the splinter kill the tank commander and hurt the gunner. Can somebody help me with that?
Otherwise what do you think about turret?

Scenary is great the paint job on the turret too so here a
Now if i was you i would have tourn the metal by the shell hole a bit more on the third picture the left side is too right it should be a bit ( eating the metal, expresssion when stong velocity material converge onto one point the metal will absorve the shock and torne a bit ) ( hope you understand this i have done my best )
On the second picture the hoock ( ) should also be not so nice looking they just had a kiss from a anti tank gun 76mm , so my fought should be that those hoock ( hope it is good writen ) should be torn too

Thanks for asking that I have a questing about it.
It is a Pz38t. It from early august 1941 when the Germans capture Smolensk with some tank casualty. The Panther is from late September 1943 when the Soviets recapture Smolensk. I want to have the Pz38t in a river. And now to the question, I don’t know how rusty it would be after two years in a river. Would the part under the waterline be totally rusty and above little rusty, or the hole tank totally rusty?

The tank would pretty much be rusting all over. It would be heavier nearer the water line and less as you go up. Here is an example, it has been there longer than 2 years, but you get the idea.
And a couple of rusty tank hulks.

Hope that helps.
