I just finished a big update to Prime Portal that consists of 4 different walk arounds and 18 new OIF pictures of Hemmits in action.
The walk arounds are:
M983 Tractor
M984 Wrecker
1120 LHS
1120 LHS w/ CHU
Enjoy!

Don,
No biggie but please don't "double" post the same message in multiple forums. Just pick the best forum and post once.
Thanks,
Jim

I went back and deleted the post I put under general.

I just found out that i had ID one of the HEMTTs incorrectly. The M1120 LHS was actually a M1977 CBT. If you downloaded the pictures already, change the name. If you haven't don't worry, I already corrected it on the web.
Sorry

Animal,
Let me see what I can come up with. I have trailer shots, but they are all the double axel pull behind trailers that hook up at a hitch (sorry don't know the model numbers yet). I do have some pictures from OIF that show the M1070 with various armored units on the back. Would that help?

I think you'd still be a few short then....
But I was thinking the same, and I know for sure, that as soon as I finish my M109 and my HMMWV's, I'll build one (or two)...
Thanks for the link Don, keep up the good work!

Thanks for the compliments. I have at least two more HEMTT variants to post, then I start on the other soft skin trucks.
Tonights update will be mostly a bunch of OIF pictures and if I get time my first set of Afghanistan shots.

Howdy dbusack,
Many, many thx for posting the HEMTT photo's....they are indeed a blessing to many of us.
If I may be so bold?....I don't suppose you have access to, or any plans thereof, to take as superb a set of pictures of a Model 48 Articulated Chassis HEMTT truck in the near future????.....
I have been wanting to dabble in scratching one for an idea I had for the upcoming T2K '04 Campaign, but have only been able to procure a small handfull so far......I know it's generally used by Marines (ohhhhh, whoa is me... ), but us old Jarhead's feel almost as attached to our 'wheels', as we do our weapons......or is that beer and women?........forget how that goes :-) :-) I/we, would be eternally grateful.

Tread,
I am talking to a Marine right now that I am hoping will be able to fill in some holes in the Hemtt collection. I can't promise anything yet, but I will make every effort to make it happen.

Dave there is one on my webshots page, its the M989A1 Hemat used for reloading the MLRS. If Don want it for prime portal, he can take them.

I' am very interested with MK4814 trucks family, but we cannot reach the USMC TM's. I know Joe's album his pics were very useful, if we have some plans to build a 1/35 model.
