Hey guys, this is my second armor i have made. Hope you like

It is a 1:72 Revell Pzkpfw IV Ausf J. Great kit and fun to build

Sorry the pics arent that clear my digital camra is usless at taking pics of small things.

If you looks closly at the track on the photo above you will notice the tracks dont connect all the way around this is because some how i was left with a half link gap on that side and i can figure out why.

ITs not really that shiny when you look at it, its just the light its under.

I usually do quite a bit of test fitting to trap these sorts of problems. One solution would be to add some track sag along the return rollers. That might then widen the gap to be the width of one link. Of course, it's probably too late to do this but it might be an option on future models that have the same problem.

I'm running ito the same problem with Italieri's ausJ.

Does anyone sell goo 1/72 scale 1 piece rubber track??

I'd sacrifice a little realism in order to avoid those tiny trackblocks!

CMK sells a set of vinyl tracks for the Panzer IV. Both Eduard and Extratech sell photoetched tracks for the Panzer IV as well. The vinyl tracks that come with both Hasegawa and Italeri (Esci) Panzer IV kits are very bad.
