I'm working on Tamiya's Krupp Protz and want to know how the tail gate works. Does it fold down on hinges, or does it get lifted off, or does it swing to the side on hinges?

Thanks in advance.

Scott which Tamiya kit are you asking about. The old cargo/troop carrier type body or the new artillery tractor?

I am pretty sure it is a dropping one hinged at the bottom mate. I have checked my archives and can only find one pic a side on unfortunately.

So bottom hinged is the norm for this type of vehicle

So, how is thisz kit? IS this ther one with the PAK 36?
I saw the Tamiya KP w/ PAK36 at the APG museam shop. I am thinking of getting it sooner or later.

The one I'm working on is the older one without the PAK. It's pretty decent as far as Tamiya kits go. I'm not checking for accuracy.

No major problem or anything with it.

Cliff thanks for the information.
