I used Vallejo RLM 79 paint on my late panther, and it seems very orange to me. So I want to try something else. What colours (make/no) do you use for panthers, if you only had Tamiya, Modelmaster and Humbrol paints to choose from.
Thanks.

As base I use Humbrol 63 Matt sand or 93 Matt desert yellow, with a filter/ shadow of 94 Matt brown yellow.

I used Model Master Panzer Dunkelgelb (Dark Yellow) 1943. I like how it turned out. You can see some pics in my gallery of my panzer V right before it was completed.

I have been using Tamiya dark yellow. I have tried MM Dunkelgelb but on my models it has a green tint that i don't like. HTH

I think we have a winner, Tamiya Dark Yellow XF-60, although I liked the look of MM Panzer Dunkelgelb looks good as well.
