Ola Eran

I know Part from Poland makes PE for the DML Panther

This is a list of stuff they have in stock at Jadar:
Part P35 066 Sd.Kfz.171 Panther Ausf.A/D - fenders Dragon
Part P35 067 Sd.Kfz.171 Panther Ausf.A/D - side skirts Dragon
Part P35 068 Sd.Kfz.171 Panther Ausf.A/D - track horns Dragon
Part P35 069 Sd.Kfz.171 Panther Ausf.A/D - grille Dragon

I used to have The site of Part self I believe they have pictures of how it looks like with all the PE attached. Sadly I can`t find the link maybe somebody else has the link.

Eran,

I haven't built the Dragon Panther yet (I have one on the shelf) so I don't know if it absolutely needs PE but my impression of any German armor model is that you can add a lot of realism and detail with PE especially with engine grill covers and fenders. I usually use Eduard PE.

Their web site is www.eduard.cz

Good luck!

I know Aber does a superset for the Panther D/A.

It includes all their PE sets for the vehicle, their aftermarket barrel (all revies rave about that one) and IIRC tow-cables and the like. Their website:

http://www.aber.net.pl/aber_english.html

The PART website:

http://www.part.pl/

IIRC both Eduard and Part do have a set for the rear-stowage boxes, which Aber does not.

I hope this helps

Anyway, good luck and happy modelling

I purchased the Dragon 1/35 Panther A Late, 60annv. Normandy issue. Nice kit. It came with; PE Grill covers , Metal tow cables and a turned Barrel.
I am mentioning this just in case someone would like to know what this kit comes with..
I am looking at another PE set for this kit but can't deciede on what to get..... I don't want redundent pieces to what I have just a nice addition too......
Does anyone know of any items, ideas?

I guess that depends on what you want out of your project and what part of building is fun for you.

The Aber super set for the Panther A is amazing, but will multiply to time and energy to complete the kit by 4 of 5 fold and involves some nearly microscopic parts.

If you want an exacting detailed model replica of a Panther A with 'scale' metal parts in all possible locations that takes a lot of time to build, that's the way to go.

Since your kit already has a metal barrel and etched grills, the tow easy and somewhat affordable additions are already taken care of.
If you're looking to add a little bit of eye candy, a set of skirt hangers and tool clasps might be just the trick.

Like another poster mentioned, you can preview set contents, see images of the parts on an unpainted model, and download (Adobe PDF files) the instruction sheets for Eduard sets from their site.

Hi there eran

this is my personal opinion
the DML's panther D is a great kit... for me , the panzer will only need the PE for the engine grille...

and i try PE set from GUMKA..they're good also...
