Hi guys. Can anyone tell me if any M26s in Korea carried the Tiger markings, or any other colourful insignia? I know that the M26 at Fort Knox has the Tiger face, but I don't know if that's an accurate reproduction. I just fancy something a little more colourful that straight OD for my Korea campaign entry.

Yes, there is a relatively famous photograph of tanks of the 6th Tank Battalion, 24th Infantry Division in Korea in March 1951. All four tanks pictured have the colorful tiger faced paint schemes that actually wrap around the turret.
The photo is in the Shiffer M26 Pershing book as well as Squadron/Signal's Armor in Korea book. The S/S book also has colorful photos of M46 tanks with tiger faces.

Many thanks Sabot, now I just need to find a copy of the book, or the photo on the web. Google hasn't found it so far........
At least I know it exists!
