Nice work on the M44. The others look good too but I have a soft spot for APCs.

Impressive bit of scratchbuilding. did you have drawings for the M44. By the way what part of the Great White North are you in? Wouldn't mind seeing your work up close.

Thank you all for your compliments. Paul I live near Toronto, I may have seen you at one of the model shows, maybe the Ajax show last year where I displayed 4 of my scratch built LVT's they where unpainted. As for the M44 a fellow modeler sent me some pictures that I scaled down or up to 1/35 a lot of hours spent on this. All my layouts where done on plastic sheets so I made no drawings. I was going to do the interior but now this version will be closed.
Gino I did check your builds, if I remember correctly I asked you some questions and complemented you on it and your win congratulation again. I can not remember how you built your model but I ended up scratch built every thing you see in white and dark green and I still got miles to go, I mean hours to go.
Thank you all again

I like the M-123. Did you use the AFV Club M-35A2 for the cab? You did a very good job on stretching and widen it. the chassis and suspension from what I can tell is looking great. I see that you used the M-26 wheel and tires. I used the same ones for my build of the 123. They may not be as accurate but they looked good enough for me also. The other two conversions are really nice. You have a talent for the scratching and my hats off to you.

Dave O'Meara, H.L.Sikkema, Rob Lively and Dave Willett thank you all for your compliments. Animal, yes I did use the AFV Club M-35A2 for the cab and your article that you posted on Armorama and It made it easy for me, Thank you for that article. I would like to use the civilian 5 spoke rims on it, but I do not think I'm going to scratch build them at this time.
Cheers

Mech,
For the 5-spoke civilian wheels, I found some that were perfect. They were from a 1/24 scale AMT International Paystar Dumptruck model. I took the wheels and cut the outer lip off and sanded them down slightly, and then drilled out the slots. I drilled the center cap out of the front wheel and used the Tamiya front wheel center on it. For the rear, I only used the outside rim from the AMT kit and the Tamiya on the inside. It was pretty easy and they look perfect.
Hope that helps.

Hi Gino
Thank you for your recommendation. I do not own any 1/24 scale kits and would have to go and buy this kit just for the rims and they are not cheap here in Toronto and if I can find it.
Cheers

Ralph,
You might try posting on the ScaleAutoMag forum for trucks. I did that and someone helped me out who was building it and putting different wheels on it. They are a great bunch of guys over there too. Saved me about $30 bucks on the kit to boot. ScaleAutoMag

Hi generalzod
Thank you for the compliment. I am using the AFV club M18 as the base for the M39, was there any reported problems with this kit on its chassis.
Cheers

Keep going buddy-LOOKING GOOD,
