this is my other current build. dml/dragon 1/35 king tiger w/porsche turrent. the build is oob except for 28 guage wire handles.

Looking good!! That must be a real monster as far as size. I heard this kit comes with two different barrels. I guess that both are plastic, right?

Both are plastic, they are just two different versions.
