Double Posting - Where the same message (verbatim) is published in more than one forum.
I have noted several users posting the same message in multiple forums lately. I would like to point out that with the homepage recent topics list and the Latest Posts feature I would really like to discourage this. If you really feel that a topic is of utmost interest to several groups, please post the topic in the primary area of interest, and then post a notice in the other forum(s) with a link back to original post. This way all replies will end up on the parent topic. DO NOT USE THE SAME TOPIC SUBJECT TITLE.
As I have posted in the past, duplicate posts (identical) will be removed (so that there is only one) at the forum moderators discretion.
Thanks for your cooperation,
Jim
