I have todays update posted.
One item of particular interest will be the Humvee hit by RPG. I will be posting the full story of this incident next week, but from what I remember the RPG did not detonate. You can see in the one picture that it did still HURT!! Luckily there were no fatalities.
The other updates include a M1977 loading a bridge section and another loading a Combat Support Boat (CSB). To top it all off, I had two pictures donated to the site from Jim at JED Military Equipment of a M2 Bradley that got hit by (I think) an RPG.
Check it all out on the What's New page.

ohhh just a little bump
but i'd rather have a bump like that rather than a box and a 6 foot hole.
i'd say the humvee won that one

Spall Liner on the M2A2 looks like it did a good job and the IBA would have taken care of the rest of the fragments

I still can't believe they continue to send under armored hummv's in harms way. Speaks volumes of the bravery of the ground pounder.

Well, about a month ago, I was on the DoDs website looking at the contracts awarded. One was for AM General for more uparmored HMMWVs.
What I can't imagine is the story that guy will forever have. Not many people literally get hit with an RPG and survive.
