Hi guys,
Last night and this morning I worked on my AFV club pak 43. Construction was done and the entire model was primed with citadel white about a month ago. Started to airbrush and something strange happened. The paint dried a different shade on the metal parts than on the plastic. Now the kit has a metal barrel and pe gunshields, but I got a lighter shade on the plastic parts. No matter how many times I went over it, it remained the same. I don't really mind as I kind of like the look, but just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else. I did not deviate in the least from any step in my painting process, so it is not as if I am trying out a new technique.
Best Regards,
Robert
