Hey all what color should the sites and such be on the Chally II? Should they be clear red, clear blue, clear green, or clear orange????
Thanks in advance,

the sights and optics vary in colour depending on light conditions and the angle you look at them, like most coated lens'.
i would say as long as you can back it up with a picture, paint it whichever you prefer
cheers

Most of the optics out there today (including binos) have a laser protctive coating on their lenses, from what I've seen this tends toward an almost purple color. This became necessary to protect the crewmember's eyes from the number of lasers out on the modern battlefield/training area, interestingly enough in the Operator's manual for the binos my unit owns there is a warning not to use to look directly into the sun...
