Hi, after really screwing up the paint job on my model, I had to remove most of the paint, if I ever wanted to finish this model. I used methylated spirit (brandspiritus) to remove the paint. Takes a while, but it works. I used an old toothbrush for the big parts, and a Q-tip for the more delicate parts. The paints used were Tamiya primer, covered with Humbrol enamels. I haven't tried it on acrylics.
