Please help...

I went into the kitchen tommorow only to find that the cat spilt an open tub of paint on the remander of my decals for My bren gun carrier. I dont know what to do. All i need is the Star that goes on the side. Does anyone know where i can get a replacment?

That's not so bad I'M sure if you scrounge around in you kits you'll find a star the right size to fit your carrier...

Ciao A-Train,
Why don't you just stencil the final star on it? I have been spraying with stencils for a while now, and they usually come off pretty good. Give it a try.
Ciao for now

Agree with above post. Looks more natural.

Ciao A-Train,
In fact, if you have some of the low-tack blue tape, that stuff works like a charm. You can press down to prevent seepage, but pull it off and leave no residue.

Rob-- can you discuss you use of the blue tape and stencil. Do you cut the stencil out of tape, then place on the model and use a brush or spray? Seems mine always have that run on the edges due to the uneveness of the surface.
thanks

It's always best to use an airbrush and point the nozzle away from the edge of the tape when masking or stncilling. Brush paint is too wet and will seep under. Most rattle cans are also too wet and have too much pressure.
