yo troops i have ordered how to build dios by shep paine and i dont know where to begin with paints and would love a book on basic brush painting,weathering,thinning,washing,diff paints ect cheers

Hi Dino, I'll look up some books for you, In the mean time the Internet is a great free source for information you are looking for. At the top of this forum go to the "Sticky" and you will find some good info you are looking for.

Dino,
when I started modeling about 9 months ago I invested about $100 in various books/pamphlets on Basic Airbrush Techniques, How to Model Panzers, etc., etc. They were not worth the investment except to give me some pretty good pictures of what some expert modelers had put together.
I have come to rely on the Forums here at Armorama. Ask a specific question and you will get the benefit of a wide variety of modelers with various levels of expertise.

the "sticky" is the post(s)at the very top of each
fourm it looks like a bit of paper with a pin stuck
