Was this AFV used in Northeast Europe, post D-Day,etc...... Through the Bulge etc.... I was curious about the service of this particular version.

Hi Deacon........production was right up until Sept.1944.
They served on all fronts with the schwere Infanteriegeschutz
kompanies ( Heavy Infantry Howitzer Companies ) of the aromored infantry regiments.
The records show that there were 173 Grille's still listed for service in Feb.1945.
( This is all I can come up with at present time ).

Hey Ralph!
Thanks that does help. I was wanting to use it in a dio and wasn't sure about this particular version. I picked up the Alan kit and thought it would make a nice peice in one.
