well this is intended to be a nice looking dio It'll focus on a Ju-87 taxied in that "grass" with an officer and a pilot talkin, while some infantrymen, walking by, decide to stop and have a look. I was thinking of putting some trees in the background so I did some with wire, following one of armorama' s great tips article. They didnt came out as I wanted so I got some branches from a "cork tree" ( dont know the word in english, in portuguese it's "sobreiro"). They seem nice but I still have to cover them with some woodland scenics material...
Please take a look at the pictures and tell me what you think. This will be my second finished base (and first dio?). What kind of material would you use to fill the branches? There are some available in my local shop but maybe you could show me some first
Cya all, hope you enjoy!

I too only see red X's but I am able to copy the URL from image properties and paste into my browser to view photos that way. Perhaps the image hosting site does not allow remote linking to images.

I can see that the left side of the dio is kind of empty, and that the trees need to king of blend with the ground.
P.S. I saw the images by right-clicking on the X and then selecting "view image"

Hi Francisco. It would be easier to upload your images onto the armorama site. All registered members have 3 free MBs. Thesite you use doesnt allow direct linking.
From the pictures everything looks to be built very well. Your wall and grass are excellent. The trees are probably in progress. But as mentioned already by DRAGONSLAIN, in my opinion the dio could have done with with some pre-planning. The left side does look empty, and because the left wing of the plane is hanging over the wall, it looks squeezed in. If the wall had of ran diagonally, the plane would have fitted better. It might be worth trying to lay out the dio again if possible.

Sorry for the trouble I posted it kinda in a hurry...and I linked to the page and not to the pic itself!!
Well the trees need those woodland scenics bits on them but I agree that I should have build it in a diagonal way...I will leave it as it is but the left side will be filled with with some grass and plaster to make the road. Maybe I'll put a kettenkrad over there but I guess I'll cover those mistakes when I layout the figures and some acessories like gasoline barrels...

I think you have a very good dio in the making there, the ground work is good and the trees do look pretty good there too. Will you be adding foilage to them? Can't wait to see it finished. Cheers Kevin

This is a nice begining, the idea is goed , You might want to change few thing such as the base of you tree
it is not looking to realistic a little bit too big.
The dio is quite good so and post the progress of your work
