Well i've been modeling armour for about a year now and was looking into getting a double-action airbrush, i was wondering which would be good for a beginner like me? i don't want one that is terribly expensive but will still get the job done...and suggestions would be much apperciated.

Hi
This question probably has many answers. Personnal preference is your best answer. I like the db action aztek 430. Many here are fans and many are not of aztek. Iwata, Badger, Passche and others are all good names and by the build here you can see do a great job. Maybe your hobby shop will have a test day or friends own some different types and you could test some.

Mate
If you can get to try a couple of different ABs it may help you make up your mind. See if there is a local Club near you where you can ask the guys for a try out or as HastyP suggests your local hobby shop.
I finished up picking up a cheap ($80 AUS) no name double action AB on eBay just to get used to the double action side of things and I am so happy with it that I have given up (for the moment) on my original idea of getting an Iwata.

Hi,
I have recently bought a Paasche Millenium and it seems very easy to use and have had good results so far. I also have an Aztek A4909 which I am not that impressed with yet.
Also have the trusty old Paasche H single action. I am very happy with this brush as well.
