I don't know much about this, but maybe a brief description of what I remember might get a strike.
I am looking for a 6 wheeled armored car from early 60's or so. Main body was kind of hex shaped it had tiny turret in forward section. Drivers are also inside has the windows and then slopes down to a hooded area for the engine/ drive train in front. Grill runs sideways. It's European, probably British. Any body got any pics /references/websites would be appreciated. Hopefully there is some kit out there for it. I remember as a kid I had a Dinky Toy version of it.

This sounds a lot like a Saracen wheeled APC.
Check out this site:

I believe there is a resin kit of the Saracen, but I can't rememebr who makes it.

Definitely sounds like a Saracen. This is the only model of it that I know of:

Select '1/35 scale vehicles', then scroll down to find the Saracen. I had good service and well cast kits from this supplier in the past as well.

Thanks guys. It is definitely a Saracen. Are there any other versions of it besides the expensive resin 35th scale. Maybe a 48th or even a 72nd scale?
