I have finished a Tamiya Marder II painted with Tamiya acrylics, a coat of floor polish (no Future in Australia) washed and then last night I went to give it a flat coat.
I grabbed an old bottle of Gunze Flat Clear - feeling too lazy (read pissed) to mix Tamiya Flat Base with floor polish - and gave it a coat. Had a couple of blocking problems with the airbrush so it went on a bit heavier than intended.
This morning i have a Marder II that looks almost like it is whitewashed.

The flat clear was well shaken and stirred etc - I finished the bottle - and I know that the problem is that too much of the flattening agent (talcum powder?) has landed on the model.
My question is this. Will a further coat of the same Gunze flat coat (I have another bottle) fix this or am I looking at stripping it off?
If the latter then I think instead of an Autumn Russian steppes dio the season may change to Winter with a whitewashed Marder.
