Hi all:

I´m planning to buy a resin conversion to buil an early M4A1, so I´m thinking in (TWS 0072) M4A1 early upper hull with direct vision slots and (TWS 0076) M4 early suspension set. Does somebody knows about the quality of this sets ? Are the good, fit with Tamiya lowe hull, details, etc... ?
I will appreciate any help

I do have the set for the Jumbo Sherman and the quality is excellent. It works very well with Tamiya.

I just ordered this kit too..but now I see the Formation has just brought it out too ..between both kits ..I'd go with Formations.

Howdy Carlos,

I am in no way pretending to be a Sherman 'expert', but I am trying very hard to be a contender....
Anyway, I've recently had the experience of purchasing a Sherman Composite hull from TWS and, I've also looked at the photos of the Formations offerings.................
Now, from my humble seat, I won't say I'm dissappointed with the TWS hull (kinda....), but I will say that the appearance of the Formations stuff from the photographs look's fantastic!
And, for the record, I plan to do some shopping there in the very near future.

Also, if you have any plans to build any PTO Shermans, do yourself a real favour and check out http://www.hardcorpsmodels.com/
Dave Harper is the Guru there, and he is working very hard to create some fantastic Pacific Theatre, and U.S.M.C. Sherman goodies for all of us to enjoy!
Make sure to check it out.

Tread.

I did buy the Formations early Sherman conversion for the Italeri kit. It is a great set. If the two are close in price, I'd say get the Formations. I just remember that I got the Jumbo conversion for about 20 bucks less than I got the early Sherman set.
