Here is a pic of what a properly greased 5th wheel looks like on a truck We keep it that way so the trailer won't suddenly freeze up on us If that were to happen the trailer would not even turn
Also it would be bad for the truck's suspension I posted in here so ya'll know what it looks like if you ever want to do just the truck version of the Dragon Wagon

Basically the grease wipes out any detail provided on the kit's 5th wheel--but I guess that's the way it really is. Thanks.

Usually when new grease is put on it has a redbrown look to it It doesn't take long for it to look grimy black

I use a no.2 pencil to simulate this. The slightly shiny lead replicates the grease perfectly. Just rub it in good.
