I've seen a Revelle T-34 kit at a local shop. The kit is in a smaller box, roughly the size of a 1/72 scale box. The box art and design is claearly older th an the current Revelle boxes. It features the T-34 in what is claarly a town scene. Also, the box does not list the scale. It does, however, indicate it includes five figures and rubber tracks. Does anybody know what scale this kit is, and how good is the quality?

Hey, it sounds like the revell re-release of the matchbox t-34, look for it on thier website, www.revell.de its a 76th scale kit(:-|

This is an ancient 1/40 scale Revell T-34/85 that was "copied" from a captured Egyptian tank. It is more of a nostalgia item than an accurate T-34 kit. I have one from the old Young Model Builder Club which is the issue that has a photo of the completed kit with a reddish background.
The original issue box was reissued in the mid 90s, around 1997 or so. This is a photo of the original or last reissue:
