Hello all,

Im currently working on many things (at least 10) but theese are the ones i now want to push a bit and finish since both are for presents, thats why i didnt pay much attention on historical accuracy etc....

anyway, i want some CRITICS first, since i've used theese two projects to practice some new skills (mostly im not satisfied....)

sample pics:
ITALERI TIGER I 1/35

1/72 Diorama

pls reply to me as much as you can!!!

Much MORE Photos at:

OFC, neither one of theese IS finished, both still need more work, so constructive suggestions are also welcome

cheers

Well u re working a lot lately Mirko. The snow idea dio is good but u maybe have to reconsider your tree planting points , theyre cornered and seem too uniform. thats i can say for the moment .Snow looks good? What are trees made of ?

Well, until few days ago i didnt have much modeling time....

Good point about the trees, thats why nothing (ex. Sherman) is fixed to the ground, i still have to finish the figs, make some damage to the snow where tanks passed....

Snow is baking powder and baby powder above it mixed with white glue/water

Trees are from a local hobby store, my guess is they're for HO

Mirko, as far as your tiger goes i cant tell what stage you are in with it, I do suggest possibly thinning down the fenders where you bent them they look a little thick. As far as the 1/72 dio goes I agree with Costas about the trees and also where are the tank tracks? Also dont forget to put foot step holes in the snow too. All in all thats a sweet little dio. Cheers Kevin

I like the snow and I agree with the others on the tree placement.

On the Tiger I would file down the mud guards and thin them down.

Ola Mirko

Well you are working hard lately.

Well some critics.
As far as the tiger it looks very good. Clean built etc. I can mention the thinning down of the mudguards but others have said that already.

About your 1:72 dio. not only would I suggest to replace the trees but also add a few more. Just give the idea That the tanks are standing on the dge of a big forest. Also make sure that none of the trees are exactly the same hight Otherwise it will look a little odd and the only country where trees are the same hight is Holland
I also would suggest to turn the turret of the KT to the Sherman so it`s barrel is pointing at it. There is no real purpose behind that but it gives a bit more interest in the scene.
Track marks need to be added as you stated yourself but make sure that in the trackmarks there isn`t much snow visible but groundcolor. Not much snow around when a KT or Panther drove over it.

So far my Critics. I can say that both projects are looking interesting. Where does the 1:72 dio take place?

Great job mate go on

I got those 2 trees as a present, so i dont have more and i cant buy any here in Serbia, and they're not the same hight/look. and i will move them as you suggested, not to be in same line.

Nothing exc.Sherman is fixed to the base, so i can do this, its a nice idea!

yup, i know this, and i also need to make footsteps, theres, many mechanics moving arround, i also have some "minnen!" tables to put on the edges, oil barrels, ammo crates....

To be honest, i havent considere that, since im not making this one for a competition but for a present, so i didnt pay much attention on tank markings, placements and similar things i usualy do before i start a dio.
Shortly said, i used this one to test practice some new skills, but still didnt wanted to throw away the models so i placed them in a "gift-diorama"

Snow is (for now) only on sherman, it has been destroyed and been there for a while so "catched" much snow, and Tiger and Panther only have a whitewash, it was my first time on whitewash on KT and second time on Panther, my guess is Panther got better than a KT :-) i will place some snow on both when i finish.

Thanks for comments guys! anyone has more? most welcome!
