I also built workable hinges for the door. The pillbox is set in a foam and plaster groundwork. The rock outcrops were made by making a latex mold of a large piece of coal and then casting plaster "rocks" from this mold. The large "rocks" were set in wet plaster and this was tooled to blend the castings and wet plaster together. I painted this with a mixture of acrylics and acrylic washes. The areas between the cast rock sections were finished with static grass, rope fibers for longer grass and shredded Woodland Scenics foam products. The figures are modified Tamiya.
