Rumor has it that the Academy reps were talking about the development of the M3 Grant/Lee at the Nationals as well as the release date of the M36 Jackson. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Have not heard that one.But if they do a M3 Lee with interior just like their Stuart I will be one happy camper :-)
A Jackson would also be welcome, hopefully someone has heard something?

Have a good one

Lastest Rumor for the M36 Jackson is late 2002 or Early 2003...would be nice to see it for Christmas though. The M10 Late is supposed to be out in a couple months.

I haven't heard anything about a M3 Lee/Grant set from them though...but I wonder when we'll see a Sherman from there Sherman Series of models? #:-)

Actually, the Academy reps started a "wish list" which myself and about 20 others had added both M3 mediums, with interior as per their Stuart/Honey.
At least they know what modelers want, so we can only hope......

Hi Ron ..........do you have a link to this "wish-list " ?
I think this is great and show's Academy really listens
to their customers "want's & need's " .

Unfortunately not, Ralph. It was a list they were keeping at the Nationals. Sorry.

Well, too bad the interior for the Honey is wrong!

I like that Academy includes interiors, but I wish they wouldn't cut corners.
I'm finding not much of the Honey interior will work for a Honey!

Oh well...
I'd love to see a Lee and Grant from Academy.

Doesn't it seem like Academy is starting a trend of releasing a British version of a US AFV then releasing a US one? They did it with the M-10 Wolverine/Achilles, now with the M-3 Stuart Honey. I bet we see a Grant, then a Lee.

Rob--have you gotten the VLS interior for the Lee? I saw it advertised for $35 plus. I am always wary of these interiors. I bought the VLS M-8 interior and while it has details when placed along the OOB M-8 it's hard to tell the difference. One man's opinion

I have the tamiya kit and spent many hours rebuuilding it and adding an interior. Looks good but will buy the Academy kit and do it again. Hope it comes out soon.
