I'am going to build the Academy 1/35 kit of the early version Jackson. #1 Were the spoked road wheels used on the early version?
#2 The kit comes with two 90mm barrels, one has a long shroud on the recoil compensator. The other barrel has a shorter recoil comp without a shroud. Which one was used on the early version ?
Just a note, this is a very nicely detailed kit, I have been drooling to start it!

TIA,

Garry

Hi Garry ..I looked through the AF Visual book on the M-36 and it seems like both types of wheels were used on the Jackson, BUT... I have onlt seen the solid idler ... As for the canon ..I,m not too sure what you are talking about but use the one without the muzzle brake and no fume extractor..

Ok Richard, replace the words recoil compensater with Muzzle brake. Both barrels have a muzzle brake on them, but one has a long shroud attached to it.
Thanks for the heads up on the wheels!

I just checked my kit ..use parts O3 O4 and O7 to make your barrel without the muzzle brake.

For a WW2 version, do not use the barrel with the bore evacuator.
