Here's a pic of the beast all put together and painted up Just debating what kinds of markings to put on it Probably just the stars and serial numbers

Just wish I could see an action pic of an M4A1E8 in U.S. service I converted the DML M51 IDF Sherman The engine deck and rear exhust plate are from the Italeri M4A1 The exhaust deflector is from the Italeri Priest

Tools are from Mission Models, will add tow cable from them later Tracks are DML Turret is from CMD

Lord Kenworth

Looks good, (as usual). Any more pics besides this one? What are your plans for weathering this one?

Keep us posted.

looks good Zod.
Hmmm, well for weathering, you could "burn some holes in it,like a range target, since these didn't see war action.
Oh,and did you insert

If you want so see some good "in action" shots of a US M4A1E8, tune into the old movie "War of The Worlds". In the first part of the movie, the Marines are equipped with M4A1E8s and use them to combat the Martian space vehicles. Not too effective, but there are several useful scenes.

It is currently playing on AMC (American Movie Classics) channel this month on Sept. 16 (8:00 PM & 11:20 PM) and on Sept. 17 (9:30 AM).
