I am a restoration architect, and I know about Greek Temples. This can not be a Greek Temple, be careful, those who wish to use it. The column capitals and the lintels are far out of scale, and I wonder about the height of the columns, too.

Well, more suitable for a Roman Temple, but still, it lacks something. I will try to find documents about this, and as soon as I find some, I will post them.

Hello.

Well, I respect all opinions, but I must to add my opinion about:

1) It is a interpretation temple for 1/35 diorama modellers. Of course...it not represente any special temple...is a "generic" greek temple...or GREEK STYLE!

2) As you know, not all modellers are architec or have knowlogements about it. Some of them is teacher, mechanics, engeeners, and not all of them know about differences between roman or greek.

3) We named as GREEK temple because is the most common for modellers. In fact, as you know perfectly, the beginning was greece, and second Roman.
When a normal modeller see a temple like this...usually he think about typical greek temple, as ACROPOLIS temples...is true or not??

4) Check ou this picture of a entry area in ACROPOLIS:

Now...compare it with our kit:

I think that the style is GREEK!

So...if you are not sure about your comments, please, be carefully, because your opinion can damage to others, as us or to modellers that want it for make a greek temple.

Of course you can say that you don't like it, or maybe that you can do it better....and it is all right, but please, don't say that it is not greek if it is not true.

Sincerily

what ever the style is or is not cant we just say its another ace product from mig productions?
i understand the points of accuracy etc ... but i feel this has many applications as well as just 1/35 modelling
what about fantasy wargames ? or historical models?
i think its a real nice bit of scenery and makes a nice and very welcome change to brick walls and yet more brick walls ! i'll be buying one for sure !
