hey guys i want to show u my stug III G in progress for my upcoming diorama. ive used the chipping technique and u may see and ive rusted it up pretty well. still awating the dust coat to blend everything together. The baking soda will be some built up dirt i havent painted yet. tell me what u think and what i should to or have done wrong. thanks a bunch my dio buds

i like the scratches

How do you blend the stuff together? By airbrushing or by hand brush?

yeah for the scratches i just took and exacto and scratched it so it would reveal my dark grey basecoat. on the green i scratched to reveal the dunkelgelb.

Hi, dont know if its just the photo, but your rust looks a bit on the red side...maybe you could add some orange or burnt umber...just my opinion...The scratches looks good. Keep it up

the layering and the chipping method.

well first of all i use model master enamels. I started by putting a good coat of schwarzgrun which will be the color of the metal in the end. then you apply normal table salt with a wet paintbrush. after the salt and water has dried you just proceed to do your camouflage and then you just take a stiff brush or carefuly scrape it off with an Xacto knife. hope this helps
