Here are some pics of my pz IV so far; hope you like.
Kit:
Revell Pz. IV Ausf H
w/ Part Zimmermit
& Part Detail set
I didnt like how the camo tunned out ontop of the turret.
This one is kinda blurry.
I still have a lot to do.
Comments are welcome.

Thx guys this was my first time putting zimmermit on, and i have got to say i liek the look better it makes it that much more intresting to look at. As for the construction it was very straight forward and the pieces went together great. Revell are my favorite kits in 1:72. I only wish they would include figures like the tank commander or somthing.

Its not as hard as people think, just if you get P.E parts the can be REALLY tiny i had a hard time bending some of them and lost a few others to the carpet gods.

You might be able to divert her by reminding her how inexpensive the 72nd kits are compared to their bigger brothers... typical 1/3 the cost (or less!) for the same thing in 1/35. Just don't let her know that the braille scale beauties are like salted peanuts... first you pop down one, then want another one, and another one, and another one... it's hard to stop

Heh My want list is never satisfied. I have a Dragon Tiger w/ zimmermit, a Italeri Sherman m4, a Elefant SP, a ground vehicles set and a m4a3 Halftrack on my todo list. This is a small collection comapire with a lot of modellers.
I always need more models!!! :-)

Yeah i sold alot of the ones i 'm not ever going to get around to and kept the few of my crop that i really want to do
includes aircraft too so i now have it narrowed down to around 8 kits
not much, like you ,compared to some modellers ! my problem is time
i have now dicovered those great 1/72 subjects so i can now get my hobby "fix " in a few hours at a time ,and working from home means i just take a longer lunch break :-)

any idea how i would simulate foliage camouflage in 1/72? i took a look down the florists and all they had were too big in scale
what would you use?
