hi all, i have decided to go ahaed with my sherman diorama. i cant post my plan pics up, but i am going to have a sherman and an m20 utility car travveling down a country road, when to the right the m20 commander notices somthing suspiciouse sticking out of a ruined house wall, then as they stop, gunfire is shot at them from within the ruined farm house, the commander calls is infantry to go and sniff out the german anti tank gun and its inhabiting german troops. while this is all happening the sherman makes its way across the road onto the grass.
this dioramas is going to include the following tamiya kits.
U.S army assualt infantry
german assault troops
german 37mm anti tank gun pak
U.S M20 armoured utility car
U.S. medium tank M4A3 sherman 75 mm gun ( late production)
in wich all these kits i have already ordered from my nearest hobby shop. and boy is this going to cost me alot of money.........i am seriusly getting scared of what this might cost me..........i am guessing at least $150.
anyway i just thought i would let you all know, thankyou jackhammer for all your help.

MATTTOMLIN: considering the number of figs and armor in your planned dio, definitely it would require more than 3' x 3' of ground area. Your dio looks something like the Band of Brothers (Market Garden) scene. I like the idea, you should go for it. About the farm house, why don't you just scratchbuild it, at least it you could control the dimension...
Cheers
