Here's my lastest update on this dio. The 4.2 inch mortar is basicly OFTB, with I replaced the modeled carrying wire rope on the base plated with 14 gauge braided wire, the end of the tube is actually a metal tube to give a more realistic thickness.

The dio base is 3 carved layers of 1/2 inch insulation foam, the poles are 1/8 inch wood dowels, groundcover is acrylic painted spackle, and Woodland Sceanic Turff and grass.
