Good News....
I found a chat module/program that pretty much does everything we want in terms of showing who is in chat and hosting it off of our own server (no more getting locked out).

It was free too. It may be a little buggy. I know of one that users are saying some Private Messages (in chat not our regular PMs) are sometimes visible by everyone in the room. That's bad.

FAIR WARNING: Don't say something you don't want seen by others in a private chat message (hereby called PCM).

Bad News....
We just blew $50 on a program we may not use if this one works out better.

I REALLY looked hard for a free chat module. I don't know when this one was first released but they did a good job of keeping it secret!

My bad...just mad at the waste.

No bad - I'd be happy just to be able to visit awhile.

Unfortunate about the Privacy problem. I wouldn't recommend saying anything you'd not want to say directly to an individual in question - regardless of the "confidentiality" offered by a chat program, personally.

Is that new program for iRC already working?
Well if it gonna be easier for you guys let´s make the switch, but I didn´t get problems using the older(???) one. About the confidential stuff, sometimes evererybody goes to private lines and we can have a social and friendly chatting modelling.... Just a thought!

I assume this is the "Chatterbox" thingie on the left under the main menu. I checked it out. Loaded pretty fast, seems smooth. Nice idea. :-)
