Its mainly drubrushing, used a black wash on the tank and two shades of red on the bricks followed by a "mud" wash.

Thank you for the compliment. Really appreciated.

Very nicely done. I like the simple diorama.
Is this one of the new Dragon kits? What is your impression and how long did it take? Also...how about a few more views?
Great work.

Hi, Super job there. Man I don't know how you did that. Must have a lot better eyes than me. Ha! Very commendable workmanship. Very life-like in all it's details for such a small scale.

Take care, Sgirty

sgirty-thank you.

CFbush2000-it is one of the Dragon 1:144 recent releases-I picked the up just to see how they are and ended up getting about 6 sets by now-this is the first I completed due to time constraints.

The kits are simple-broken down into minimal amount of parts though some of the sets can surprise you with the "little" pieces-especially on the Karl and Loki guns/mortars. The contstruction is quick and easy though the clean up and mating surfaces can be quite bad (this is where weathering and super glue comes in really handy). The clean up is easy as there are only a few parts involved. The kit has 1 and a half downfall-most parts are vinyl which have a tendency to come rather warped and do not want to mate properly and the half fault are the decals and instructions-same Dragon picture instructions with one option of painting and decal application (the decal sheet comes with enough decals to make a small fleet of tanks!-its neat on that idead).

Painting-sweet and easy-weathering-even easier due to the size of the kits.

I would reccomend them to anyone-at least give it a shot. They are fun to build and most of all very very very cheap (two tanks for approx 5 USD).

P.S. I will try to get more pictures but I have to get a digicam first... this one was taken by a friend of mine.

Tommy
Thanks for the review. I'm waiting for my LHS to get some of these kits in. They sound like fun builds.
