What color do you guys paint the tracks?

black, then dry brushed steel, then touches of rust color on the inside, then weathered them

I believe there were rubber blocks on the tracks, so you should paint them black or dark grey, darker than metal parts

rubber blocks on the real life tracks or the kit tracks...cuz the kit track is one rubber piece

Rubber on the real tracks. They were steel with a rubber pad. Also, the drive sprocket had rubber pads around it's outer surface.

Just checked squadrons sdkfz 251 in action and the color plates have them as weathered metal links with dark rubber pads. The BW photos look the same way, metal with rubber pads.
