Here are some pics of my finished King Tiger. This was the first time I tried airbrushing softedge camo, and overall was a very fun thingie to build. All went pretty smooth except for the decals which got ruined when I tried to add a drywash, forgetting to first use some matt varnish to seal off the decals....Let's just hope I'll learn from my mistakes...
Ooh, before I forget, this is Dragon's king Tiger with Henschel Turret (1/72) For picture purposes, I testfitted the Tiger on a base I once started to build for a 1/35 tank, which never got finished. Please let me know what you think!!!

Looking good. I like the steel peeking out-its not too heavy and looks just right. Good Job.

Nice job on the tank. It also looks as though the diorama base you have there is pretty good too.

The kit looks great. The chain looks unrealistic. A chain that sized (width) and long would be impossible to handle. Chains that size tend to be the simple oval link type and not with a twist. Just an observation.

Thanks for the comments guys!
Sabot, you're right about the chains, after looking at them again they indeed look too big for that scale... I'm taking them off.

I had the same thought as Rob...the chain was too much. finding out it was 72nd scale explained a lot of it though, hard to find chain that small . Also don't think the crew would carry that much around with two good cables still available
