My track is in quite early assembly stage. I build Tamiya M113A2 kit and modify it to M113A3 variant (externally - no interior in this model). I used lower hull and suspension parts from Academy kit to be able to more easily modify suspension to A2/A3 standard (by lowering road wheels and raising idler wheel). I removed most surface details from top hull plate as I will replace them with scratchbuilt and PE parts later. I modified the engine grille already and added armor mounting points to the hull sides.

Looks good so far. What are you using for the periscopes inside the commander's cupola and driver's hatch?

These are just kit parts painted with gloss blue enamel paint (Revell).

Take a look at this picture from Rob's motorpool:
There is a raised strip behind the hatch bumpers. It is present on Tamiya part, but as I used Academy hull, I had to add it as Academy omitted it.
