Well, I bought this kit while on TDY recently, under the M60A1 w/ M9 Dozer Title. This is the one that I used with the AEF turret conversion, and am waiting for the cable ends for, to complete the kit. A warning here for the Academy dozer mount: If you are not familiar with the real thing, the instructions will have you place the blade pivots on the upper glacis plate, whereas the TM and reference photos show them to be below the bow. With the blade raised, it all kinda rolls together, and to the untrained eye, it looks workable. Of course, the wrong way is how mine went together, prior to receiving the AEF turret,,,,,,,,

I was wondering if anyone else had noticed this discrepancy... the strange and interesting things that model companies do...

When I purchased the AEF KA-105 conversion, I thought the dozer blade assembly came with the turret. Greyhunter's photo shows (judging by the different colors) that the turret and blade are part of the same conversion. My conversion only came with the turret. Any info on this?

The Academy 1390 USMC M60 referenced above is the kit that I am using for the donor. So I wasn't shorted a blade by AEF, that's always comforting to know. Now, if I can only re-locate the pivot mounts for the blade to match the reference material,,,instead of my interpretation of the Academy instructions!

Yes, but when the kit was first being released, it was billed as an M728. I was disappointed since the CEV was the first armored vehicle I ever crewed. BTW, CEVs don't have ERA like the USMC M60A1 RISE/Passive.
