May I be so honored to nominate Treadhead. He has always been a positive presence on the Forum, not just this month, but since he arrived. I feel that is the essence of what the UOM is for.
Glad to have 'ya around Tread!

I think it´s time to nominate CaptainJack!
No, this is not because what he´s been through lately but the always positive, funny approach to any dilemma. He even has the ability to make up dilemmas when it´s supposed to be a clear thing... #:-)
And he´s one of the spirits in this place.
Enough said.

That's funny, I was going to nominate you ya blockhead! Now after reading your great and friendly post I'm feeling all 'queasy' inside.............no, wait a minute, that's what I had for lunch. Sorry. Damn! And I was trying to be funny too, now ya got me all confused.
:::::::::::::after a couple of slaps to the noggin'::::::::::::::
O.K.,.......I'm better now.
Honestly, I think Gunnie deserves the award more than I. Gunnie makes his time here really count. His posts are both entertaining, and informative. Not only that, but he is always well spoken and supportive of everyone. Even posters who he might not neccesarily agree with. That takes a special kind of bloke.
So, if I can put the butter dish back in the 'frig, I nominate the very talented, and hansomely tailored ( I heard this once on the TV at the 1966 Academy Awards show ) 'GUNNIE", or GunTruck for you new arrivals, for our September 'User of the Month' award!!!!

Oh......and many, many thanks go out to all of you (and you know who you are) that were so kind to think of me. As I said before, and I'm sure I'll say it again.....You're all the best!
Tread.
Besides, I think Gunnie looks better in regalia than I do...

Heck, I remember when we used to walk down to the local store that had TV's for sale in the window just so's we could watch TV in colour!.......how about that. True too.
Tread.
P.S. Where you been boy? Haven't seen hide nor hair of you in weeks....now all of a sudden you pop up now?

I've received such help and support from the family here lateky it would be impossible for me to maka a fair nomination. If I could I would nominate everyone. you are all kind hearted, and helpful, and ready in a second to proffer help and advice. For once I'll sit back and let things take course by temselves. It is an honour, and many of you deserve recognition for you kind contributions. I'm honoured and pleased to be a member of this site. Starting to get my humour back again........
Now look what you have all gone and started!! Lets get back to having fun, and laughing at the small things in life.
This is your Captain speaking, Fasten your seatbelts, it aint over till it's over.
Jack :-) see i can smile again!! :-)

Well, I've still got a full time job... and when I'm off I'm doing one of the following:
Watching Lord of the Rings widescreen edition
Trying to teach myself guitar
and ... Working feverishly to finish my M41 before I hit my 1000th post...

Thanks Tread - I mean it! My fourth nomination - I'm kinda feelin' like the Bride's Maid here
I guess I've been here a long time in retrospect - I've seen virtually all of you guys come into ArmoramA - some 1,086 registered users (at the time of this post) since I enlisted at #40. That is a lotta good people and a great foundation for the continued growth and success of the site.
May ArmoramA live long and prosper...
