I got the pics from http://www.modellbaustube.com/ Modellbaustube's retail site in Austria. The Italeri DUKW is available there and from Hannants in England. Hopefully it'll hit our shores too soon - no pun intended...

Although I am always glad to see new armor kits, especally ones from a mainstream manufacturer, I just don't get that excited over the stuff that floats, especially one that is basically an amphibious deuce. I hope it sells well, I wonder if it will spur sales of Tamiya's old GPA Jeep.

I've had one built and sitting on the shelf for almost a year. The spot next to it is reserved for the DUKW.

DUKW PLEASE READ. Italeri have had production problems with this kit and have now closed for a month. Our order has been drastically cut. We have enough to supply all those who advance ordered this kit. We expect to receive more mid to late September.

Definitely on my to-do list!
The nay-sayers have already started ripping this kit, but I say, HEY, IT"S BETTER THAN THE ALTERNATIVE!
I've been sitting on a set of 1/35th scale plans for a DUKW for almost 15 years -- this kit will definitely be a better starting point than sheet plastic. I wonder how long it will be before the aftermarket floods us with accessory sets?
