.For year I have used Model Masters acrylics. I find the color to go on smooth and covers well. Also, I like the fact that with a drop or two of my alcohol based wash I can recreate a whole range of weathering.
The ONLY thing I didn't like was the darn caps gluing themselves to the bottle. I've tried wiping the bottle after opening, applying grease to the glass threads but the lids keep sticking. I cannot tell you how many bottles I've shattered and cuts received from same.
I read about a guy who substituted the metal cap on the MM bottle with one of a 20oz soda or water bottle. Having a number of these on hand I tried one and low and behold it WORKS. No more sticking the lid seals tights and best of all no more shattered bottles. The only unfortunate thing is that I have found no comparable bottles tops attached to any adult beverages.
So give it a try.
