Was doing the shopping thing with SWMBO over the weekend, and as a reward was permitted to enter a hobby shop :-) where I spied with my beady little eyes 2 Humbrol products I had not seen before, namely Matt Cote and Satin Cote.
My question is: are these the same as Matt Varnish 49 & Satin Varnish 135 respectively?

If you´re talking about the little square bottles .... buy them! The matt cote is brilliant ... I use this all the time now.
Humbrols matt cote in the tin is useless .... even after a good stirring it is still 50/50 whether it will be matt.
Can even be nearly high gloss. I hated it.
Those bottled Humbrols are excellent ... recommended by me anyway!
