Hi guys ...I was just looking thru my stash of kits to see what to do next .. I was thinking about maybe doing a WWII Chaffee... I was wondering if anyone has some good sites showing some of the caracteristic of the early chaffee's ...I've got the the Eduard set and the Royal set (They seem to be a mix of both post war and early details),along with a Jordi barrel and AFV Clubs M41 suspension and Friul tracks...I'm just having trouble determining what to use for a real WWll version.

There are a couple of useful books on the M24. There is Steve Zaloga's one in the Osprey New Vanguard series

And there is the Squadron/Signal In Action by Jim Mesko, which was reprinted recently.

Steve Zaloga also did an article for UK Military Modelling a few years ago on back-dating the original Italeri M24 to a war-time version. Someone might be able to help you with a copy of the article.
