This is my first vehicle project. I normally build dragon 1/35 special forces and Germen Winter warriors.

Hi Eerie,
Your vehicle looks really nice. Although the pics are a bit dark I can''t say much about it. Maybe an idea to take some pics outside?

Thank you for commenting on my project. I thought nobody will take a look at it. I am doing research on my next project. A Bradley M2A2. Maybe with the same color scheme but with brown so it will be a 3 color woodland camou.
And i will take my picture outside next time. I am also hoping to learn the most basic of painting weathering effect.

Hello, eerie, greetings from Pennsylvania!!
Nice job on your fist armour, sir, but I too would like to see a brighter pic of your work...As far as nobody looking at your work, I must say that you shouldn't worry about that, because I think that I can speak for us all here @ Armorama and say , that is one of the things we like to do best...You never know what you may learn from someone else's project, tips, techniques, etc...Don't be shy, show us what you got!!!
Sincerely,
Gunny

I took the liberty to rework the pic you showed in this post. I cleaned it up a bit with Photoshop made it brighter and clearer and a little sharper.
First a visual of what teh difference is before and after the cleaning process, A sort Before and after view.
next the Reworked pic.
Now I`m not much of a modern builder and I definately have the total lack of knowledge about them. From what I see in the pictures it looks quite good.

It's nicely done. But it's a bit too clean for my tastes. Put a little mud, dust, scratches and grime on it.
Is that an out-of-the-box build or did you addd details or modifications?

First of all you need to activate a rank. You can do this in your profile. Look top right in the page and you`ll see "My Account" click on it and click "Change password and/or Settings. Scroll completely down and just above the "save changes" box you find a box saying this: "New! RANK SELECTION
Select the Rank progression you would like to have"
Here you can choose your rank. Several are available like the USAF and US Navy ranks but also Dutch Ranks Belgium and Polish ranks.
Your Rank will grow with the number of posts you have.
More info about it can be found here:
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=SquawkBox&file=faq#ranks
I hope this answers all your questions.

Thank you for re editing the picture. It looks way better. So you make WW2 series? Germans? I made 2 sets of winter warfare germans.
A winter war set 1944-45
and a 2nd Fallsmanjager Winter combat set from dragon.

Its out from the box, but i choose not to place any field equipment on it. eg Spades, pic axe, jerry cans. This is the standard Warrior that based in Germany, not the heavily armored version in Iraq. although the set comes with extra armor.
As for detailing, theres not much interior for me to play with. This is the academy first series of WArrior. There is a new set from them that comes with figures. I was attracted to it cos it looks closely like the Singapore Made BIONIX IFV. But after buying it, i found out that its not even close. ha ha
Anyway, how do i add mud and scratch? Maybe i ll do that on my next project the Bradley.

Hi
For your first modern vehicle you did a good job. I spent a lot of time working with Warriors a while back and I think you have great potential. I saw Warriors that were 10% black to ones that were about 70% black. The ones I worked with were uparmoured and few, if any, of the panel camos lined up.
The only comment I have would be to add some dust to help break it up a bit. Then again, you may wish to potray a nice clean TA one. If that is the case I'll shut up :-)

Hi, Nice job. I agree that the colours are a bit off, although they are better in the reworked picture. A point of note, Warrior has a bright red cover over the emergency shut off handle, it is included in the Academy kit. It's the small flap on the side, about 1/3 of the way from the front. There's one on each side. On the up-armoured version it's a circular hole allowing access through the armour to the handle. Its very distinctive. Good job for a first AFV though, one of my personal favorites. It knocks spots off of Bradleys too!! :-)
PS, it is not always red on the desertised versions.
