I did remove that recently. It takes an additionaly request to an off-site server and I'm not sure it wasn't slowing the page load a bit.
That and our Alexa ranking is dropping (rising) like a rock lately so I am a little pissed with them (we have almost the same traffic we had a year ago, so either they are wrong OR the lower ranked sites are becoming more popular).
You can still view our Alexa rank by downloading the Alexa toolbar though.
Cheers,
Jim

Lowest rank simply means that if we are ranked say # 15 we would be lower than another site ranked 20. The lower the number, the better.

So does the fact that the homepage for some nationalities have diferent web names eg
armorama.co.uk | br.armorama.com | de.armorama.com | es.armorama.com
kr.armorama.com | nl.armorama.com | ru.armorama.com | se.armorama.com
mean that by using these to enter the site it will cause a drop in armorama.com stats on Alexa?
armorama.co.uk | br.armorama.com | de.armorama.com | es.armorama.com
kr.armorama.com | nl.armorama.com | ru.armorama.com | se.armorama.com
mean that by using these to enter the site it will cause a drop in armorama.com stats on Alexa?

Hi Tarok, Alexa monitors how many people visit a site and produce statistics to give them rankings. The most hits is ranked number 1 and so on.

Actually only the .co.uk site would as the others are all subdomains of armorama.com. I doubt the usage on the uk site is causing any real decrease at this point.
